This is a question I hear frequently with the homeowner looking to sell their home.
We had a lot of success in the past, but it’s been a little different now.
I can tell by the way many of the people I’ve talked to (and I’ve talked to a lot of them) answer this question that the question itself has become somewhat of a buzzword among homeowners. It’s a good question, and it’s one that I believe makes sense for many homeowners.
The idea that selling a home is simply getting the keys to your house to someone for a commission is a ridiculous concept. You work hard to get in the door, and to get your house sold, is a lot better than simply receiving the keys to a house. The idea that sales agents or Realtors are merely a way to make a buck is a ridiculous notion.
The reason that the sales experience is important is because there is a difference between working a commission and making a sale. I believe that there are many homeowners that are happy with the sales process but would go out of their way to work a commission. Because the sales process is a service, the person that receives the commission is just as important as the person that sells the home.
The sales process has changed, but it still includes the sales person and the actual sales person. The difference is the sales person has more power to negotiate the sale. He or she will usually have more knowledge about the property you are interested in and the potential price so they can be more aggressive in trying to obtain a sale.
The sales process has been going on for years in most real estate markets, but it’s still a little new to many people. For most of us, it is still a bit scary, but not much more so than selling your own home. It is the least of our worries as we are about to leave this earthly state. We hope to find our way in a new and better world that is made of our dreams.
This is a great time for some serious investment. This is a time of good news for everyone, and for those who are in need of some time, we will be here.
