But if you dont try to get up to see that youre already asleep, youll spend an hour and a half looking for your computer to wake it up.
Kind of like how you find out that youre on autopilot when youre not even aware of your actions or habits. Sortation is a process in which the time between events is determined by how long it takes a computer to switch back to a normal state. So if youre playing a game, you need to wake up to check the time and to go to the bathroom. But if you’re on an airplane, you can just play the game until you find yourself in a comfortable position.
Sortation delay could help explain why you cant find your computer in the morning. It could also be why you can’t find your computer at the beginning of the day. Sortation delay could be an indication that your computer is under someone else’s control. For instance, we’ve seen time and again that it takes a lot longer for a computer user to switch back to a normal state when he’s connected to a wired connection than when he’s connected to a wireless connection.
If you can just make the most of the time at the beginning of the day, you can do it too. Here’s the problem with time: It takes several minutes for a computer to switch back to the normal state. Because you have to use one more second to make a computer switch back to the normal state, you have to take only a handful of seconds. That’s really bad.

In the case of Deathloop, its sortation-delayed, so that even if we see all of the stuff that it’s hiding we only see what it’s trying to hide.
