I’m just a tiny part of the city’s central business district, but I’m definitely a part of it. I’ve actually lived in Abu Dhabi for a bit, but it’s still such a fun place to be.
That’s right, you know, it’s like it’s in a dream city. No, it’s not. It’s actually in Abu Dhabi Central Business District, but it’s not that much different. Except for the fact that buildings are a bit bigger, more massive, and more colorful, there are no cars, and the streetlights are bright and glowing. When you’re in the middle of one of the busiest areas, you feel like you’re in another part of the United Arab Emirates.
The city is called Abu Dhabi because the oil money from the nearby Persian Gulf money poured in to create it in the 1980s. Back then the government tried to build a whole city out of sand, but they never got past that stage. So they decided to build a whole city out of buildings. Some of the buildings are still there, but others have been replaced by luxury apartments, office buildings, and luxury hotels.
The central business district is a large area of the city that’s full of many of the same buildings that you would expect to find in any other modern city.
The city is a lot more modern and open than the rest of Abu Dhabi, but it’s still very much an old city. I think it’s cool how the city is shaped like a circle and how you can take a long walk through the streets to get to the most outlying part of the city. The buildings are also well designed and quite expensive, which is a good sign.
You can find many more good hotels in Abu Dhabi, but I’m sure they’re noisier than they are in Dubai or even some of the other western cities. The central business district can be a bit noisy and busy, but the hotels are usually much better and more expensive.
Well, yes, the central business district is noisy and busy, but that’s because the city is shaped like a circle. That’s the first place I’d point to as a potential problem for the city. If the city is not a circle, then the noise wouldn’t be as annoying.
There are 2 main categories of noise in Abu Dhabi: vehicular/traffic noises and street noises. Vehicular/traffic noises are most likely to be from the traffic, and street noises are most likely to be from the streets and alleys. There could be some vehicular/traffic noises coming from the central business district, but I doubt it.
How do we get rid of these sounds? I don’t think we can. The sounds are pretty simple, like an ad on a website and then some sort of music. But there are a lot of other things that people need to know about the city that other people may not know about. For example, we have a lot of street noises on the streets and alleys, but I don’t think we need to worry about street noises on the streets.
Street noises are actually one of the things that people find the most challenging to deal with in Dubai. Because the city is in a relatively flat area, the noise that happens on the streets is often much louder than it should be. We had to take care of that problem on our first visit to the city and we’re already looking forward to visiting all the other neighborhoods we’re going to.
