In the words of my friend Brian, the words you use in your head are your operating statements.
In this movie, the words that the characters use in their dreams are their operating statements, which are just that: the same words they use when they’re awake.
The way I like to think of these ideas is that all our thoughts are our own special operating statements. We have our own little language, and we use it in different ways depending on what we are doing. When I’m talking to a friend, I’m using the exact same words I use when I’m awake, and I’m in the same place I am when I’m awake.
It’s hard to imagine a time in history when we might have been able to speak the exact same way we do now, yet we couldn’t have used them even if we wanted to. The idea of operating statements is that if we could speak the same way we do now, then we would be able to do whatever we wanted. If we could speak the same way we do now, then we would be able to do the same things we would do if we were actually awake.
Operating statements are the basis of all logic. If we had them we would be able to do all sorts of things that are impossible, or impossible-ish. If we had them we would be able to do the same things we would do if we were actually awake.
So when we think of words like “operating statements,” we think of the fact that we use them all the time, but we don’t really mean what we say. To a good degree of logic, the words “operating statements” are just the means to an end we use to talk about the things we want to talk about.
This is important because it means that we are not as logical as we would like to believe ourselves to be. If you were in a room with an operating statement, you would still not be able to think about what you were doing, but you would not be able to act on what you were thinking. You would still be in the room, but you would not be able to do the things you were thinking about.
Because of the way operating statements are created, we are not as logical as we would like to believe ourselves to be. We are just using tools to talk about things we would like to talk about in our head. Operating statements are usually very short and very direct. This is because they can be very effective at convincing us that we are not as logical as we think we are. Most of us, though, aren’t so lucky.
The very nature of operating statements is that they are very short and very direct. They can be very effective at convincing us that we are not as logical as we think we are. Most of us, though, arent so lucky. The point of operations is to tell us that what we are doing is wrong. The trick is to make it so that we dont seem to be wrong, but we have to believe we are wrong in order to change our behavior.
The most effective way to get things done, though, is to give us our best to do them with no knowledge. We are not to give our best to anything. We need to do things that are only a few times a day.
