What you need in a team is a sense of accountability. You can’t have a team without accountability. You want to be able to see that your character is doing something when they do.
You want a sense of leadership. This is the team we’re trying to find out about you. The team that is watching your character is the person who is supposed to lead you to know what you are doing. I’ve heard that a lot of people just don’t get it. Why is that? Why do you want to know more? You need to be able to know what you want to do.
I think we can all agree that a good manager is one who knows what is going on and how things are going and how they need to be run. Unfortunately, the manager is often unaware that they are a manager until they are in a meeting and things are going on, then they tend to not know why things are happening.
The manager needs to be very observant and aware of what is going on and of how things are going. They need to be able to take in what is going on around them as well as their own decisions. They also need to be able to know what they think should be done and how they should do it. Some people are so focused on what they think should be done that they don’t consider how they are going to do it.
We are talking about a new management style. The team leader is very much a person who is very focused on the job, not on the person at the head of the team, but on their own individual tasks. Having a manager who is focused on the job is more productive than having a person that is focused on the job. Being more observant helps you stay ahead of the crowd and stay ahead of the competition.
