As much as we value the food we cook on, we don’t want to cook it on the couch. To build a stronger system, we need to have to be on a diet, which is really bad if you make it at home. The fact is that we aren’t eating as much as we should be doing. That’s because we tend to overeat and get hungry. We don’t get enough protein because we only eat protein.
To take the guesswork out of getting enough protein, we can actually go the other way. What we need to do is eat enough carbs to fuel us for our day. Unfortunately, as a result of our poor diets, we are generally not getting enough carbs in our diet. We can either increase our carb intake or we can increase our protein intake.
The problem is that although we are eating too much protein for our calorie needs, we are also eating way too much carbs. Because we eat the wrong types of protein, too many of these carbs are turning into fat. So now we are eating fat instead of the real, protein, carbs we need to power our lives.
The problem is that the carbs we eat don’t make us feel good. We are no longer eating the nutrients we need to feel good, because too much of our carbs are turning into fat. So in short, we are gaining weight, because we are eating too much carbs.
This is kind of an oversimplification, but basically what happens is, your body doesn’t make enough of the essential nutrients. Thus, you are not getting enough energy, so you are gaining too much extra weight. Most carbs, for example, do not make up for the lack of the protein you get from eating other carbs. You are eating fat, but it isn’t a good fat, it is the bad kind that can cause diabetes and heart disease.
You could say that eating carbs is the easiest way to gain weight. But its not the only way- you can also gain weight from eating a lot of protein, which can actually be a good thing. But protein is also a good fuel source, and you have to make sure you are getting the right quantity of it. Eating the right amount is another way to gain weight. Eating too much protein can cause a build-up of body fat, so you need to watch that as well.
By using a food called “cannibalize” you have made a very dangerous assumption. Cannibalize is a type of protein that can be consumed by people who have a genetic predisposition to gain weight on a scale that’s higher than normal. This is not a good thing.
