Olympic Arms was founded in 2009 and is committed to providing quality jewelry and a wide variety of functional products. The company’s goal is to create simple, yet powerful, pieces that will delight the discriminating eye while giving the wearer a level of comfort and security.
All products are made from 100% sterling silver and are made to order. The company is open for business Monday through Saturday 8 am-5 pm EST.
I love how the company name is just a direct translation from the Greek (Olympia). The use of the word “Olympia” is very clever, as the company is also named after the ancient Olympic Games. Just like Olympic sports, Olympic Arms is focused on making simple yet powerful pieces that will delight the discriminating eye while giving the wearer a level of comfort and security.
I’ve been a fan of Olympic Arms’ products since I learned about the company’s products in high school in the early 90’s. Olympic Arms is very similar to the companies out there, in that they focus on creating affordable, high quality, simple, yet strong pieces. So I think it’s very clever and an appropriate name.
On the surface, the similarities between Olympic Arms and other products are all the more striking in that you can actually see the similarities when you look at the products themselves. They don’t have the same level of mechanical complexity and cost, so there’s no problem with that.
I like that it makes it look as simple and strong as possible. They do have a nice level of mechanical complexity, but they do have the advantage that if you go too cheap, you might end up with a crappy product.
But really, it’s the differences that are most striking. First off, you see that Olympic Arms is the product of a small team rather than a large one. Secondly, the prices of those products are extremely similar. So the fact that its an Olympic Arms product doesnt mean the company has the same resources as the other arms manufacturers. But really, it isnt that big of a difference.
I wouldnt necessarily call Olympic Arms a crappy product, but it is certainly not a product that I would like to buy. And I wouldnt necessarily call it a small company, but it is certainly a smaller company than the rest. Its a company that produces a number of small weapons, and it also includes a number of small arms. But to the average customer, it doesnt seem that big of a difference.
Its not a big difference to me either. Its a weapon, and the weapon is really just a toolbox for what you and I are doing. If I would like to buy a weapon, I would probably buy a rifle, handgun, or shotgun. But if I were to buy a rifle, then I would probably not bother getting a pistol or a shotgun. And I wouldnt really bother buying things like pistols if I were to buy a shotgun.
