Her writing is published in a variety of places, including the magazine _Portland Monthly_, the literary magazine _The New York Times Book Review_, the literary journal _Viceland_, the arts and music review _The Oregonian_, and the literary journal _Coffeehouse_. She is also the former editor of the literary journal _In These Times_.
