This was a time when a lot of the best accounting books were created by a handful of “accountants” that took their jobs seriously. But these “accountants” were really just accountants and managers using the accounting industry to get rich.

I don’t mean to be a smartass here but most people who go to accounting school today have no idea what the accounting profession really is. I like the term “accountants” because it means someone who goes to accounting school and has no idea what the accounting industry is. This is not a bad thing. If you are a business person and you have a good time, you know what to do. If you are not a business person you will never go to accounting school.
Accounting has always been a very technical field, but with the advent of computers and accounting software, it has become very accessible. This has not led to anyone understanding the science behind what they are doing. This is because the accounting industry has become quite hierarchical.
