Sales distribution is where a company or retail business assigns a list of purchases to the salesperson at the first opportunity.
Many people will tell you that sales distribution is when they get their first order of products and they’ll get to see the salesperson make a bunch of product recommendations. The problem is that this often gets reversed by the customer. The salesperson may make a bunch of recommendations based on how they feel about the product, and that may be the very first thing that gets reversed.
We’ve seen this happen a lot with Amazon. The first thing that happens when you buy an Amazon product is that Amazon sales person makes a bunch of product recommendations. When you get the products you like, it would be great if you could actually choose how many you wanted and how to get them. But the problem is that this often gets reversed by the Amazon customer.
Amazon has gotten into a bit of a sales-distribution-vs-product-recommendation debate, and to prove its point, Amazon has recently started showing you the products that you like the most, but if you don’t buy them, then it shows “showing” the products that are against your tastes.
Amazon’s system is a bit more complicated than this, but the general idea is that you go into a store and you ask a question. Maybe you like the product, maybe you hate it, but you ask them a question. Then they show you the products that are most popular, and you can then choose how many of them you want. If you bought the product, you are then given the option of getting the product on-line or finding a local store to pick it up.
This actually seems to be very much like Amazon’s own customer service. If you want to purchase something on-line (which is often the case when you buy something online and there are other people in the store who want that item, too) then you can get it either at the store or on-line. If you want to buy something in a store, the only choice you have is whether to make a purchase in the store or on-line.
Well, I can’t think of any other business that puts a two-day wait for its products on-line, and you can buy them in store, or you can get them to your door via Amazon.com. Amazon is the world’s largest retailer of books and DVDs, which is why Amazon’s first product that we’ll be talking about is a book called “The Art Of Sales Distribution”.
It’s like a lot of these retailers are a bunch of dudes who can’t think straight on their business. They just don’t know how to get it right.
Yes, there are a few businesses out there that fail and the whole “you can’t have the best, you have to have the worst” syndrome happens. But the ones that succeed are the ones that take the time to actually learn how to be the best, which means being the most efficient, the most honest, and the most honest.
The art of sales distribution is also about selling a product to the people who can actually use it, and then using the information they have to make them happy. That requires a lot of mental and emotional intelligence. You might not have a lot of money, but you do have a lot of information. By being the most honest and efficient, you are also the best for them.
