To me, performance is what we do to make ourselves feel great. We strive to be the best we can be, and we’ll take whatever advice others give us and do it even if it’s not perfect.
This is why it’s so hard for a lot of people to tell us what we can and can’t do. As a general rule, a lot of advice assumes that we have it all figured out. We’re not perfect, but we do what we can do to improve. That’s easier said than done though because we all have so much to learn. I mean, look at the new Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram marketing campaigns.
A lot of self-help online is just so very self-help in that it assumes that we can do everything we want to. It’s not like anyone has ever told us that we can’t be a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram entrepreneur. We all know that we can, but we aren’t perfect, and we have to get better at what we do.
Peek is a site that tells you how well you’re doing as a blogger, which is a very subjective thing. We have to measure things ourselves, and we know that most of what we write is crap. But we’ve got to get better at making better content.
In the end, we all have to be our own best critics. Because, while we might not have a perfect track record, we can still be humble and realize we have to do better. Just ask anyone who’s ever tried to start a business or achieve their goals.
You might not like the fact that we compare ourselves to others. But we dont have to do that. We can always improve and look at what we do as a step toward becoming better. Of course, we can also always compare ourselves to others, but they wont always be the most successful, so we have to be okay with that.
The fact is that when we have to be on autopilot when we’re doing something, we can be pretty lucky. That’s just the way it is, I think.
Look at how we compare ourselves to others. We see them, feel them, and think they’re better than us. We feel good about them, and we want to be like them. But it’s also important to realize that we’re comparing ourselves to others because we don’t want to be like that. We want to be better. We want to be the best versions of ourselves.
I think this goes back to the first step I talked about in the beginning of the article. A person must show others something worthy of a link. It must be something noteworthy, which we can see through the lens of Google, and it must be something that can be linked to by people who own websites.
The way I see it, the goal of peeking is to show people something and get them to link to it in hopes that they’ll click through for more information. You’ve probably all seen the videos of people peeking at stuff. Myself, I’m a big fan of Peeking. I’m also a big fan of the concept of “leveraging links”.
